The Oxford Schoolof Drama returns this summer with another feast of Shakespeare! Have you ever got bored, texted friends or fallen asleep while watching Shakespeare? If the answer is maybe, then you will certainly enjoy Shakespeare in the Park. There'll be no time for snoozing in this fast-paced evening of all the very best bits from the Bard: lovers, villains, kings and clowns, join some of Shakespeare's favourite characters for a picnic in the park.

The Oxford School of Drama, who are very fond of dear old Will, invite you to share in the fun of it all. You supply the picnic and we'll supply the Shakespeare - or even better don't bother and have supper from the Blenheim Palace Barbecue. Set in the magical surroundings of the Pleasure Gardens at Blenheim Palace, Shakespeare in the Park is the perfect treat for a summer's evening. Seating is provided in the hay bale auditorium. Come early and enjoy your picnic in the glorious settings before the start of the performance at 7pm. The Pleasure Gardens Cafe will be open for light refreshments.

The Oxford School of Drama trains actors for the profession. Graduates include Claire Foy (BBC1's Little Dorrit; Channel 4's The Promise), Andrew Gower (BBC3's Being Human, ITV1's Monroe), Charlotte Mills (Jerusalem, West End/Broadway), Annabel Scholey (The Old Vic's Richard III), Hasina Haque (BBC1's Casualty, ITV1's Kidnap and Ransom).
