A touching and funny story inspired by the lives of the director's grandparents, and devised by the company using live music, movement and smart writing. Chicago, late 1930s, at a downtown hotel, a pianist plays jazz in the lobby, Sam rides in rodeos with the Kosher Cowboys whilst running his hotel business and keeping his family together. Earl, his manager is navigating his own treacherous waters despite the undercurrents of politics and race.
