We are proud to announce our next show:

The UK Professional Premiere of Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit's

Based on Gaston Leroux's 1910 novel Arthur Kopit's and Maury Yeston's PHANTOM offers a witty and fleshed out version of Leroux's classic yet tragic love story.

Erik (The Phantom), born under the catacombs of the Paris Opera House takes on Christine Daee as his pupil under the condition she must never see his face. As their relationship and her voice develops, complications arise in the change in management of the opera house, resulting in Carriere (the former manager and Erik's father) losing his chance to protect Erik as Cholet and his wife Carlotta take over the opera house. Threatened by the talent of Christine, Carlotta seeks to destroy Christine during her opera debut, and upon doing so, the Phantom takes his revenge, terrorizing the opera house and those who get in Christine's way with tragic results.

Traditional musical theatre in the finest sense, this version of Leroux's novel adapted for the stage offers an expertly crafted book constructed around characters more richly developed than any other version.
