All we really are is the memories of other people. And if no one remembers you, well...

FoxedUP Theatre present the world-premiere of The Cat's Mother, a new play by Pericles Snowdon.

Six women awake - groggy and disorientated - in an outlandish box. They have been done up as 1980s cartoon characters. Around them are strange and arresting items of yore. They are unknown to each other, or so it seems. And for the time being there doesn't appear to be any way out.

On the evening of her 30th birthday, Tabitha Porlock becomes locked in at her place of work. Locked inside the building of which she is custodian, the truth of her past begins to unravel.

FoxedUP Theatre are a performer-led all female company, formed in 2009 with the aim of creating new and exciting roles for women. They are thrilled to collaborate with directors Natalie Scott and Joseph Thorpe of Lab Collective, and the writer Pericles Snowdon.

"Surprising and inventive ... funny and engaging" ***** WhatsOnStage (FoxedUP's PRICELESS Underground, Theatre Souk, 2010)

"A wonderful piece of escapist drama, dark and richly enigmatic from the outset. Sparkling from beginning to end." Camden New Journal (Pericles Snowdon's Bluebeard,2009)

"Intriguing ... I was seduced and engaged" Time Out (Pericles Snowdon's Bluebeard, 2009)
