(A new adaptation by BENJI SPERRING)

This October, The Monk is coming to the Barons Court Theatre.

Matthew Lewis' 1796 Gothic Masterpiece - and A-Level English text - is brought to the stage in a brand new adaptation by award-winning director Benji Sperring, and produced by Tarquin Productions.

The Monk follows the downfall of Ambrosio, the most pious and revered monk in all of Madrid. After experiencing sins of the flesh with an agent of the spirit world, he will stop at nothing to satisfy his desires, whatever - or whoever - gets in his way.

As the nights get darker and the Hallowe'en season begins, this chilling new adaptation takes place in the beautifully atmospheric Baron's Court Theatre from the 16th October to the 3rd of November at 7.30pm (Sundays 6.30pm)

Not suitable for children. Contains nudity and scenes of a sexual and violent nature.

PERFORMANCES: Tuesdays - Saturdays (7.30 p.m.) Sundays (6.30 p.m.)

ADMISSION: £12 (Concessions: £10)

BOX OFFICE: 020 8932 4747
