About this event
Cost £10
Following on from their highly successful showcase for new drama in February at Southwark Playhouse, Little Pieces of Gold return to Southwark Playhouse to stage another eight, fifteen minute plays from up-and-coming UK writers and directors.
Established in 2010, Little Pieces of Gold is a regular showcase for bold, thought provoking, entertaining new drama. Each show features an eclectic mix of plays selected from over three hundred submissions by a reading panel including Julie Press (MacFarlane Chard), Laura Jessop (National Theatre's Script Reading Panel) and Sarah Barton (Development Producer, BBC Drama).
With sell out shows and industry interest for their writers, the showcases are an ideal opportunity for writers to get their voices heard and for audiences to engage with innovative and enriching work that has something to say about the way we live now.
