The Winter's Tale, one of Shakespeare's less performed plays is a story of passion and love, of tyranny and jealousy, of bravery and forgiveness, of magic and madness. Set during the winter months in Sicilia and the harvest in Bohemia, The Winter's Tale tells the story of a King and his much loved Queen and of the dire consequences of his irrational jealousy which looses everything he holds dear. Sixteen years later, a young shepherdess fall in love with a handsome stranger and unknowingly sets in motion a chain of events that will reunite her family and heal the Kingdom.
