The terrifying legend of a murderer convinces a small town to become radically sin-free. A monstrous machine called The Fumidor, believed to have the power to dull the senses and take away all human desire, is erected in the town square. But when a stranger appears with forbidden temptations, a terrible secret is painfully uncovered.

The creative team behind sell out hit show Ovid's Metamorphoses and winners of 2010 Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award, Pants on Fire return to the Warehouse Theatre Croydon at the end of this month with a darkly comic fairytale "The Fumidor"
A collaborative project, bringing actor musicianship, live music, spell binding puppetry and beguiling storytelling to a poignant show about extremism. A cautionary tale about the dangers of excess and the search for love. Centred around the seven deadly sins, "The Fumidor" contrasts the notion of sin with human nature and over indulgence with abstinence.

Pants on Fire is dedicated to creating new, exciting, high quality theatre. They craft original dramatically dynamic, visually brilliant and widely accessible work.
