In Atlanta, Georgia in 1913 Leo Frank, a Jewish factory manager from Brooklyn, is accused of the rape and murder of a 13 year old employee.

Parade is based on the true story of how the trial, sensationalised by the media, aroused antisemitic tensions in the deep South and how the events surrounding it led the revival of the defunct KKK and the birth of the Jewish Civil Rights organization.

On its Broadway premiere in 1998, Parade was nominated for nine Tony Awards, winning Best Book and Best Score. It also won Best New Musical at the Drama Desk and The New York Drama Critic's Circle Awards.

PLEASE NOTE:
The Vault is a large untreated performance space in the Victorian arches beneath London Bridge Train Station and as such can get a bit chilly. Although we do everything we can to ensure audience comfort we'd advise to bring along jumper just in case!
