George Bernard Shaw's neglected comedy of cross purposes.

The heartily socialist Reverend Morell, professional tower of strength, agitator and charismatic orator par excellence, firmly believes that he runs a tight ship on a fraught schedule, and still finds the time to take in neurotic aristocratic waif Eugene Marchbanks, to make a man of him. When Eugene's deep, poetic 'beautiful passion' for Morell's secular saintly wife Candida overturns all his assumptions about his world - who will restore order?

How do you make sense of a world in which the good are not necessarily honest - and the honest very often not good?
