About this event
Cost £8
THE year was 1564. The much debated date April 23. The occasion: the birth of the greatest English wordsmith to ever walk the earth.

To honour what would be his 448th year, the critically acclaimed C54 Theatre Company gifted four playwrights the task of creating a piece to celebrate his memory. From Will envisaged as a modern-day movie mogul to a teenage schoolgirl who twists his words to her own manipulative ends, the quartet have produced more plot twists than Pericles, more titters than Twelfth Night and more turbulence than The Tempest.
