12th-15th April at 9:30pm (running time: 1 hour)

After a sell out run of new plays Steve And Then It Ended / Finders Keepers at the Hen and Chickens Theatre in Islington, Sotto Voce brings you 'Interior Designer of My Own Downfall': a new play on the classic theme of a chap worrying about the meaning of a girl while pining after life. Think Annie Hall, but only 70% as funny. All four parts ...to be played by one man. Wish him luck.

Director: Emma Butler
Cast: Benedict Salter

The Guardian on Emma Butler's last play with Sotto Voce:
"Sotto Voce's play Steve And Then It Ended by turns made me laugh out loud, and then want to sob. It was very moving"

'Donnchadh O'Conaill has twice won the award for Best New Writing at the Durham Drama Festival (This Must Be The Place, 2008; and Interior Designer of my Own Downfall, 2009). This Must Be The Place was performed at the Edinburgh Fringe in 2008 (5 stars, "poetic flair … the execution is beautiful" - ThreeWeeks). He won the Chortle Student Comedian of the Year award in 2006, and his comedy pieces have been performed on Irish national radio (RTE Radio 1).'
