Outbox produce devised theatre with a company of all LGB performers, focusing on telling the forgotten and unheard stories of the gay community. Noticing the lack of social interaction between younger and older LGB people, Outbox created The Front Room to tell the story of these older people, many of whom were activists and pioneers.

Outbox have been commissioned by the Big Lottery Fund to work for three years with older gay people promoting intergenerational links through theatre. Outbox is part of the ongoing outreach work undertaken by the School of Professional and Community Development at Central School of Speech and Drama.
