Charles Court Opera - described as a "spunky little troupe" by Opera Now - make an electrifying return to the Rosemary Branch Theatre, with another pint-sized panto smash-hit. Described as one of the most incredibly funny and outrageous pantos in town - with unusually high standards in music and performance - CCO's pantomime is an almighty 'must see' - and this year's promises to live up to their well-earned reputation.

With tights as tight as tights can be, this brand new version of the famous legend promises more toe-tapping numbers from pop to opera delivered by 8 classy CCO acts, accompanied by the Eaton-Young Piano Duo, who make cameo appearances as Friar Tuck & Little John.

Tickets are already selling faster than the arrows flying in Sherwood Forest.

"...a show that shimmies across the high wire of taste and still manages to make it to the other side..." TIME OUT CRITICS' CHOICE FOUR STARS on last year's Dick Whittington.

"...inescapably engaging...Their show is truly a unique delight among pantos. They are deviously daring in their audience participation tactics and they truly excite their spectators… I'm not averse to opera, but children certainly aren't begging Santa for English National Opera tickets in their stockings. Charles Court Opera may change that…. I left with the warm, overwhelming sense that I had just spent an evening laughing at the pub with my closest friends. Such is the charm of the cast." EXTRA EXTRA on last year's Dick Whittington.
