Tom's Midnight Garden by David Wood, adapted from the book by Philippa Pearce Directed by Ian Forrest, designed by Martin Johns Saturday 27th November - Saturday 15th January. It's 1958. Tom is bored. He's been sent to stay with his aunt and uncle with no one to play with. Then one night, the grandfather clock in the hall strikes thirteen… opening the back door, Tom discovers a beautiful Victorian garden where he meets Hatty, a lonely orphan. But Hatty lives in the 1880s! Is she a ghost? Or is Tom really the ghost? A brilliant and magical adaptation of Philippa Pearce's classic children's book. Audio-described performance: Mon 20th December, 2pm Captioned performance: Tue 4th January, 2pm |
