The long-awaited British Premiere of Dermot Bolger, Ireland's leading playwright

In The Audrey Longman Studio @ Brentwood Theatre

Introducing Tea Time Theatre - come and enjoy a 'ploughman's lunch' whilst watching a show, and all for one affordable price!

Ninety three years after his death in 1917 the War poet and road worker Francis Ledwidge still haunts us as he looks out from an old photograph, condemned to the limbo of being forever young. Hovering in the half-light of memories, the play follows Ledwidge on one final journey as he finds himself once again walking the road. Alongside him walk unseen ghosts of fellow soldiers and those who touch his life.

But where are they walking to and will any of them ever reach their final destination?
The show lasts approximately 90 minutes during which you may eat your food.

Are you a non-professional actor who would benefit from a workshop with the professional actors from Beyond Image Productions taking place on Saturday 29 May at 10am? If so, please go to "Walking the ACTORS' Road" show details.....
