The Empire Theatre, which reopened its doors in 1978, offers more than just cinema. It has a diverse schedule of live performances and entertainment, encompassing a wide range of genres. From pantomime to concerts featuring music from the 60s, as well as jazz and country music performances, the theatre provides a rich cultural experience for its audience. To enhance the overall experience, the theatre has been equipped with state-of-the-art lighting and sound systems, courtesy of the Empire's dedicated sound and lighting crew.
