Crown Tavern

The original structure from the 18th century housed the Apollo Concert Room on the first floor, which has since been transformed into a bar and event space. The ground floor bar is partitioned into several appealing sections for patrons to enjoy their drinks. The establishment offers a rotating selection of five real ales and provides an extensive a la carte and set menu throughout the day, including roast options on Sundays. The beer garden extends to the Green, offering a scenic view of the Old Sessions House and the Marx Memorial Library.
