The New Inn
The traditional neighborhood pub, located across from the old bus depot, has recently experienced a significant transformation. Following a change in ownership, the pub underwent a comprehensive refurbishment process, which was completed under new management in November 2018. Unfortunately, due to a lack of demand, real ale is no longer available, although the two handpumps remain a fixture on the bar. In a positive turn of events, the pub's opening hours have been extended, allowing patrons more time to enjoy the establishment. Despite these changes, the pub continues to retain some of its original charm, showcasing features from its history as part of the nearby Mappin's Brewery estate.
