Fox & Elm
The Fox & Elm, a community pub established by Whitbread in the 1950s, stands on the site that was once home to the New Inn, now a car park. Originally opened as the Fox & Elm, the pub underwent a name change in 1984 and became known as The Blinking Owl. However, in 1993, Banks's took over the establishment and not only restored its traditional two-bar layout but also added a skittle alley. Following these renovations, the pub returned to its original name, Fox & Elm. The establishment prides itself on being family-friendly and offers food service daily until 7:30 pm. Additionally, it boasts a spacious garden for patrons to enjoy.
