The Courtyard
The Courtyard, originally constructed as Holly House in the 1750s for a legal professional, is a unique structure that underwent a significant transformation into the Bass House. This conversion included the addition of quaint beer gardens at both the front and back of the property. The Courtyard now boasts two bar spaces, two dining areas, and a spacious pool room adorned with paneling. The interior design, featuring dark timber accents, exudes a hint of Georgian style. A notable architectural feature is a column situated opposite the entrance, which was part of the original stairwell design. This building's rich history and unique features make it a remarkable establishment.
