The Birch Tree
The pub, previously under the ownership of Greenall Whitley (currently known as the De Vere Group) and Simpkiss Brewery, is conveniently located just off the bustling road connecting Amblecote and Brierley Hill. The establishment features a cozy, L-shaped bar area that leads to a slightly smaller back bar and function room. An interesting feature of the pub is its cellar, which is rumored to be haunted. Despite this, it boasts a diverse selection of permanent beers sourced both locally and internationally. Patrons should keep an eye out for the rare Wem Bitter mirror adorning the bar.
