With an international cast, the film (90 minutes) connects struggles in Serbia, Italy, and Sápmi to wider fights for justice — showing how communities resist extraction, build solidarities, and expose the violence behind Europe's economy.

Dr Kate RawlesA former university lecturer, Kate uses adventurous journeys to help raise awareness and inspire action on urgent environmental challenges. Her latest journey and book, The Life Cycle, explored biodiversity loss and extractivism in South America – a vivid encounter with the very real ‘costs of growth'.
