The Blackmore Vale Inn is a 250 year old pub located in the village of Marnhull near Sturminster Newton. It has been a family run business since 2006, with Gregory and Sarah having over 15 years pub trade experience and winning numerous awards over the years.
This picture postcard pub is frequented by the regular locals and with four skittle teams and three dart teams it really is the heart of the village. This is a good traditional venue which is well maintained with where people come for the peace and tranquillity with rolling hills and lovely country villages around.
We are surrounded by bed and breakfasts, one of which caters for about forty guests so while our regular locals like to use the bar side for a drink we are usually busy serving meals to guests from the local accommodation.
We are always pleased to see family and friends who keep returning for the great food and drink as well as the atmosphere we offer. Our customers however range from six to ninety two so there is a great mix. We pride ourselves on the quality food we offer, all locally sourced and homemade.
There is an extensive menu, with a good choice for vegetarians, in our restaurant which seats thirty two. If you are visiting one of the places of interest pop in for a hearty, homemade meal or drink.
There is Longleat Safari Park, Haines Motor Museum, the Tank Museum and Monkey World or even the beach at Weymouth to visit while you are down this way.
