A HighTide Festival Theatre / Lucy Jackson Production
The water looks sort of angry don't it? Racing across the mud. Like it's coming for us! Haven't got long. We have to move soon.
On the muddy banks of the River Thames, downstream from the bright lights of London, three boys hide from the police after a night of recklessness. As morning dawns, their options diminish and just two questions remain: do they have the power to determine their own fates, or are they destined to sink into the mud?
Mudlarks is Vickie Donoghue's powerful debut play and transfers to Theatre503 following a sell-out run at the HighTide Festival in Suffolk.
Cast: Scott Hazell (Days of Significance, RSC; Flyboys); James Marchant (The Straits, Paines Plough/Hampstead Theatre; Lake Placid 3) and Mike Noble (Punk Rock, Lyric Hammersmith; World War Z).
